Old Alpine meadow cabins, tidy snack stations with a fine wooden bench next to the front door, with a wood-burning stove in the winter while the snow is weighing down the roof – there is so much variety with dining in the mountains. But even more important than the infrastructure in the Val Casies Valley-Monguelfo-Tesido holiday area is what shows up on the plate: the rustic side characterized by traditional recipes is represented by the Schlutzkrapfen ravioli and Tyrolean Knödel dumplings, and this is also where the hearty fare meets Mediterranean flair.
Regional Products
It is primarily local products that are used in our cuisine: the meat comes from farmers in our valley, the bread from the village bakery, and the game as well as the mushrooms from our local forests.
