The Durnwald restaurant in Gsiesertal Valley – Pichl was established in 1970 following the division of the well-known Gasthof Keil. Today, it is a typical village restaurant, set amidst greenery on the edge of the forest. The Mayr family impresses with down-to-earth cuisine made from fresh, local products. The extensive wine list, carefully paired with the dishes, leaves nothing to be desired, even far from the traditional wine-growing regions.
