Welsberg/Monguelfo & the cycling route Val Pusteria

This cycle route is comfortable to ride thanks to its low altitude differences. From Franzensfeste/Fortezza it goes over the border to Lienz: in one through or also in three stages. The ride through the green Pustertal valley follows the rivers Rienz and Drau and touches villages and cultural assets.

Starting from the village centre in Welsberg/Monguelfo, you can join the "Bruneck/Brunico-Innichen/San Candido" stage of the Pustertal cycle route. In a westerly direction to Bruneck/Brunico (19.5km) and in an easterly direction to Innichen (16km). It is possible to change to the train for the onward or return journey at any time.
