Relaxed to Lago di Braies/Pragser Wildsee lake, Prato Piazza/Plätzwiese, the 3 Peaks and Val Fiscalina/Fischleintal Valley

Special places need special protection.
To ensure that popular excursion destinations remain popular even in the high season, certain conditions apply to access during the summer months.

Plan ahead – it’s worth it

From 10 July to 10 September from 09:00 am. to 04:00 pm., the Pragser Tal valley can only be reached by public transport, on foot, by bike or on presentation of a car park reservation or a valid transit permit.

An online reservation with online payment is required for the shuttle to Lago di Pragser Wildsee Lake (lines 439 & 442) in the period from 10 July to 10 September. As soon as the seats on the shuttle are fully booked, access is no longer possible.
Exceptions: Guests of restaurants, shops and other service providers in the Pragser Tal valley receive a transit authorisation. Online reservations for restaurants can be made at www.prags.bz/en. The required deposit of €20 will be deducted from the consumption.
Holiday guests in the Pragser Tal valley receive a transit permit for the entire duration of their stay.

From 10.07. - 10.09.2025 from 09:30 am. to 04:00 pm., the Pragser Tal valley is only accessible by public transport, on foot, by bike or on presentation of a car park reservation or a valid transit permit.
The Plätzwiese high plateau car park can be reached by car before 09:30 am. and from 04:00 pm. for a fee. The car park in Brückele / Ponticello can be reserved online. The public bus line 443 takes visitors from Monguelfo/Welsberg and Toblach/Dobbiaco-Niederdorf/Villabassa directly to Plätzwiese high plateau. No reservation required.

From 31.05. to 12.10.2025, a shuttle bus runs from Dobbiaco/Toblach to the Auronzo hut as an alternative to the toll road.
Note: Online booking with online payment is required for the entire period for outward and return. Remaining tickets, if available, can be purchased at the Dobbiaco bus or train station.

From 03.06. - 12.10.2025, the Fischleintal Valley is easy and eco-friendly to reach by public transport.

From Sesto: line 440

You can also reach the valley by bike or on foot.
