Turner Taschler Josef

Description

For over 30 years, Josef Taschler has been practicing the traditional craft of woodturning alongside farming in Val Casies/Gsiesertal Valley. In his workshop, he creates hand-turned pieces from local woods – from classic pine bowls to modern decorative and functional objects. Each item is a one-of-a-kind piece with its own charm.
The small shop features bowls, candle holders, boxes, lampshades, and more – ranging from traditional to original designs. Every purchase comes with a fragrant pouch of pine shavings and a short description.
Please schedule your visit by phone in advance, as farming duties may affect opening times.
