The drinking fountain at the village square in Taisten was installed in 2017 and is part of the “Respect the Mountain” project. It is located next to the primary school, close to the new music pavilion and the village square. Freely accessible to everyone, it symbolizes the mindful use of water – one of the most valuable natural resources in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage area. The project encourages respect for nature and environmental awareness both in the mountains and in everyday life.
