Churches, chapels, religious centres
The Erasmus Chapel is a remarkable Late Gothic burial chapel of the noble Welsperg family, built in 1470/71 and older than the present parish church. Inside, you can admire frescoes by Simon von Taisten, valuable gravestones, wooden memorial shields and a keystone from Michael Pacher’s workshop. The careful restoration in 2023 revealed important original details.
