Music pavilion with memorial column

Description

The music pavilion in Welsberg hosts open-air concerts and also serves as a peaceful resting place and historical memorial. Two marble plaques on the column commemorate the devastating destruction of the village in 1882 and Emperor Franz Joseph’s visit on 19 September 1886. The precisely worked granite blocks from Pfalzen, fitted together almost seamlessly, are also remarkable.
