Traditional torchlight-procession in Welsberg

From 04:00 pm., you can get into the New Year’s Eve spirit in Monguelfo’s main square with hot drinks and sweet treats. At 06:00 pm., the traditional torchlight procession sets off from Bahnhofstraße near Hotel Dolomiten. Carrying their torches, everyone walks together to the main square, filling the streets with a warm glow.

There, the old year is symbolically burned. Was it a good year? Or one that brought challenges? Whatever it held, we leave it behind and look forward to a new beginning.

Enjoy complimentary mulled wine, warm apple punch and sweet treats as you spend the last evening of the year in a welcoming atmosphere before the New Year’s celebrations continue.
