Through the winter valley from Welsberg to St. Magdalena

Cross-country skiing is an essential part of winter in the Dolomites Panorama Region Gsiesertal-Welsberg-Taisten. Around 50 kilometres of trails groomed daily connect Welsberg with St. Magdalena, offering ideal conditions for both classic skiing and skating. The varied trails wind through open stretches of the valley, peaceful forests and stunning winter scenery – perfect for beginners, leisurely outings and longer, more energetic days on the trails.

Welsberg is the gateway to one of Europe’s largest cross-country ski trail networks. The Gsiesertal Valley is connected to 3 Zinnen Dolomites – opening up a world of cross-country skiing without limits.

Different access points to the cross-country trails along the Val Casies Valley, in Tesido and in Monguelfo.

Cancellation conditions

-Tickets can be exchanged until 6:00 PM on the previous day at the Tourist Office in Monguelfo (Via Pusteria 16).

-In case of any operational restrictions, no compensation can be provided.

-No guarantee is given that all slopes will be open or accessible.

Additional info

-Day ticket: Valid for one day, exclusively in the Val Casies Valley - Monguelfo - Tesido area.

-Weekly ticket: Valid for 7 consecutive days, starting from the first selected day, exclusively in the Val Casies Valley - Monguelfo - Tesido area.

-Children: Free of charge for childeren up to 13,9 years

-Ticket check: In case of inspection, the ticket (on your phone or printed) must be shown together with a valid ID.

-Attention – Surcharge when buying from the ticket controller: Day ticket: +2 €, Weekly ticket: +10 €
