The idyllic Gsiesertal Valley is a true insider tip for Nordic skiing enthusiasts. Its wide, sunny valley floor is perfect for gliding along more than 50 km of interconnected cross-country trails through unspoiled landscapes. Skiers pass snow-covered forests, picturesque farmhouses, and traditional regional inns that invite you to pause and enjoy some local delicacies.

The final stretch to St. Magdalena/Santa Maddalena is a bit more demanding, but the effort is rewarded with breathtaking views across the valley. From there, the wide and perfectly groomed trail leads gently downhill out of the valley toward Taisten/Tesido and Welsberg/Monguelfo, where it connects directly to the trail network of the neighboring 3 Zinnen Dolomites region. Whether you prefer classic style or skating – on the Gsiesertal Valley cross-country ski trail, everyone finds their perfect track.

Cancellation conditions

-Tickets can be exchanged until 6:00 PM on the previous day at the Tourist Office in Monguelfo (Via Pusteria 16).

-In case of any operational restrictions, no compensation can be provided.

-No guarantee is given that all slopes will be open or accessible.

-Day ticket: Valid for one day, exclusively in the Val Casies Valley - Monguelfo - Tesido area.

-Weekly ticket: Valid for 7 consecutive days, starting from the first selected day, exclusively in the Val Casies Valley - Monguelfo - Tesido area.

-Children: Free of charge for childeren up to 13,9 years

-Ticket check: In case of inspection, the ticket (on your phone or printed) must be shown together with a valid ID.

-Attention – Surcharge when buying from the ticket controller: Day ticket: +2 €, Weekly ticket: +10 €
