The hike starts at the hamlet of Huben and follows the forest road to Bramstall. The route then climbs gently past Ragotzalm to the Hörneggele at 2130 m. Beside the striking summit cross, a wide panorama opens over the Gsiesertal Valley and the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site, including the Haunold and Dürrenstein peaks. The return follows the Almweg 2000 to the Aschtalm at 1950 m, where a stop is possible. The descent continues via the new trail back to the starting point. Backpacking provisions.
