Festival of a Thousand Choirs – June 10 to 14, 2025. The International Alta Pusteria Choir Festival is a non-competitive choral event that has been held annually since 1998 in the Alpine region at the foot of the Dolomites, on the border between Italy and Austria. Over its 28 editions, more than 1,400 choirs from 52 countries have taken part. The program features around 60 performances: inspiring concerts, vibrant open-air revues, and meeting days where each choir can freely present its repertoire. The variety of venues and the wide musical range make this festival not only one of the most spectacular international choral events, but also a unique opportunity for cultural exchange between different musical traditions. As part of the festival, concerts will also be held in the Dolomites Panorama Region Val Casies Valley-Monguelfo-Tesido.
