Every Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 am, the farm oven at Stacherhof is fired up and traditional bread baking becomes a hands-on experience. In the wood-fired oven, real farmers’ bread is baked, showing the path from grain to flour and from flour to the finished loaf. Step by step, traditional recipes, milling, dough preparation and baking are explained – with great care and dedication. After baking, the experience continues: a short farm tour introduces the animals and provides insights into rural life. Afterwards, participants are welcomed with a tasting of freshly baked bread and selected farm-shop specialities.
