This tour is ideal if you already have some snowshoeing experience. From the head of the valley in St. Magdalena, you walk to the Rotmoos car park and follow forest road no. 53 to the Acherle Alm. At the rustic alpine huts, you take a short break and enjoy beautiful views of the Prags Dolomites. You then continue downhill to the Kradorfer Alm. Following the Squirrel Trail, you return to your starting point. If there is little snow, you use microspikes. Bring your own packed lunch or stop for refreshments along the way.

Bring your own snowshoes or reserve them free of charge when you sign up. Wear sturdy, waterproof hiking or mountaineering boots that extend well above your ankles – Moon Boots and après-ski boots are not suitable. Wrap up in warm winter clothing, gloves and a hat. Pack a change of clothes if needed, along with a hot drink and a small snack for the walk.
