150th anniversary of the Volunteer Fire Brigade with festive parade in Welsberg

The Volunteer Fire Brigade of Welsberg celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2026. To mark this special occasion, a three-day festival with a tent will take place from 24 to 26 July 2026 in the sports area of Welsberg. Highlights include the emergency services day on Saturday and the official ceremony with vehicle blessing and subsequent festive parade on Sunday.

Programme: Friday: 18:00 opening with beer tapping | entertainment with Taschtn Brass, 21:00 – 01:00: Die Jung Puschtra. Saturday: from 11:00 emergency services day in Prenninger Park with various rescue organisations, demonstration exercises, demonstration exercises, as well as food and drinks in the park, 18:00: music by "Die Klausberga", 21:00 – 01:00: Brennholz. Sunday: 08:00 parade through the village, Holy Mass in the parish church and official ceremony with speeches by honorary guests, vehicle blessing and presentation of the ribbon streamers at Margarethenplatz, 11:00 large festive parade through the village, followed by in the festival tent: concert by the Kiefersfelden band, concert by the St. Magdalena fire brigade band, 17:00 – 22:00 musical entertainment with „Die Bergdiamanten“.
