Mountain panorama tour to Lutterkopf (2145 m) in Taisten

Programme change during the Olympic Games Milano Cortina. Instead of the snowshoe hike Popena, the following tour will be offered:

From the hiking car park above the Mudler mountain inn, an easy ascent of about 2 hours leads to the Lutterkopf summit (2145 m). The panoramic views extend from the Sesto Dolomites in the south to the Ortler and the Rieserferner Group in the north. The route continues across open terrain and descends via the Taistner Alm hut back to the starting point. Ambitious hikers can optionally include the Durakopf (2275 m), adding around one extra hour. Refreshment stop available. Difficulty: medium. Time: 09:15 am.-03:00 pm. Walking time: 4.5 hours. Altitude difference: 525 m or 650 m. Meeting point: 09:15 am. at the parking above the mountain inn Mudler in Taisten. Cost: GP 15 €, 25 €. Green mobility: 

Bus lines 438, bus stop “Taisten (Welsberg), Mudler”. The meeting point can be reached in 5–10 minutes on foot.
