Farmers' and crafts market in Gsiesertal Valley

8/21 - 9/4/2026

Attention: Due to the poor weather forecast, the market on Friday, 21 August 2026, will take place in the gym of the Community Centre.

On selected Fridays in summer, June 26, July 10, July 24, August 7, August 21 and September 4, 2026 from 09:30 am-12.30 pm., the village square of St. Martin in the Gsiesertal Valley becomes a meeting place for everyone who values regional products and authentic craftsmanship. From organic goat cheese, honey, speck and sausages, eggs, dairy products and homemade jams to artistic woodwork, hand-thrown ceramics, herbal products, fine table linen and lovingly made children’s clothing – the participating producers showcase with great passion what grows, is created and preserved in the valley. A special highlight are the freshly baked Strauben prepared by the Gsieser farmers’ wives – a treat available on selected market days (July 24, August 7, August 21) . A market with character, heart and a sense of home – perfect for browsing, tasting and taking a piece of the valley with you. In case of bad weather, the market takes place in the Ribisen festival hut. Participating exhibitors: Berger Haymo - honey products, Lahnhof - eggs, honey, decorations, Veidlerhof - organic goat cheese, Waldsamerhof - cheese products, De Martin Daniele - wooden decorations, Eppacher Peter - home textiles, Geschenkewelt - children's clothing, fruit products, Keramik Lercher - pottery, Kräuterparadies Kofler - herbal products, Lieblingskräuter - herbal jewelry, Messner Gerti - unique handmade textiles, Pittola - speck and sausage products, Steger Frieda - bobbin lace works.
