Wings for Life World Run 2027 in Welsberg

At the Wings for Life World Run, you start at the same time as people around the world. Whether you run regularly, are just starting out or take part in a wheelchair, you set your own pace.

There’s no finish line. Instead, the Virtual Catcher Car sets off 30 minutes after you and catches participants one by one. Your result is the distance you cover. Have a goal in mind? The Goal Calculator helps you work out the pace you’ll need.

Arrival

How to get to Welsberg:

By car, you can reach Welsberg via the SS49-E66. The village lies along the main route through the Pustertal Valley.

By public transport, take the Pustertal train to Welsberg station. From there, you can reach the village centre on foot or by bus 441 or 438.

Good to know

Bring running clothes, suitable sports shoes, your phone and headphones – and, of course, plenty of motivation and a good mood!
