The summit is not only an impressive viewpoint but also a place full of history. Along the historical circular trail, numerous tunnels, trenches, and wire entanglements bear witness to the Dolomites War of 1915–1918. Here, in the heart of the majestic Dolomites – a UNESCO World Heritage site – fierce battles were once fought. Today, the trail invites visitors to explore traces of the past and pause for reflection while enjoying a breathtaking panorama of the Dolomite peaks. The starting point of the tour is the picturesque Lago d’Antorno above Misurina. Backpacking provisions or refreshments possibility.
