Taisten - Your sunny village

Panoramic & quiet

Panorama, panorama and more panorama: Tesido/Taisten couldn't be more panoramic thanks to its location above Monguelfo/Welsberg. On numerous walking and hiking trails in and around the village, you have a direct view of the Dolomites. What's more, Tesido/Taisten is blessed with a few extra hours of sunshine compared to the other villages in the region. The downhill runs on the slopes of the ski lift in the village centre and the hikes on the local mountains and Alpine pastures are therefore a real treat. Those interested in culture should pay a visit to the historic St George's Church. And those seeking peace and quiet can enjoy the simplicity of being surrounded by nature.
