From the end of the valley in S. Maddalena to the Pfoialm; continuing along the "Grenzweg trail" up to an altitude of around 2350 meters, then left along the "Viehsteig trail" to the ridge and over the Spielbühel down to the Uwald Alm hut. The mountain pastures show themselves dressed in colourful alpine roses. Enjoy pure alpine romance. Descent to the starting point. Alternative, from Pfoialm via Almweg 2000 to Uwald Alm. Backpacking provisions or refreshments possibility in a mountain hut. Difficulty: medium. Time: 9.30 am.-4.00 pm. Walking time: 5-6 hours. Difference in altitude: 950m.
